Each semester, I offer several on-campus workshops @ Nichols School designed to help students prepare for the SAT® and ACT®. These dynamic small-group classes are held in the evenings in Center 63.

The curriculum is structured around in-depth content review, insights into the most effective strategies and approaches and creating a comprehensive study plan. Classroom instruction is supplemented by a thorough review of the very best online resources to assist preparation.

The small-group setting encourages the type of engagement that fosters mastery and retention.  By working through challenging material together, students take ownership of the problem solving process that they’ll rely on during the test. Active involvement  and robust discussions build confidence.

Mr. Eldridge’s workshops were an integral part to doing well on my standardized tests. They taught me how to approach the tests and the new strategies and techniques I learned from his workshops helped me increase my ACT score six points, which turned my “dream school” into a reality!

These classes are ideal for rising juniors who may be taking the test for the first time, or for those who have already taken an exam but wish to improve their score. Wherever a student stands on the readiness spectrum, he or she will leave the class with the skill-sets and modes of thought necessary for success on the SAT® and  ACT ® exams.

Put simply, he delivered a master class that helped our son take his scores to an ultra-competitive level.
